Dattara Apps built the Dina Panchang app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Dattara Apps at no cost and is intended for use as is.

  • Location Data (Coarse Location Only): Dina Panchang requests access to approximate device location (`ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION`) solely to calculate regional astronomical positions, sunrise/sunset times, and local Panchang muhurtas. Location data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to external servers or shared with third parties.
  • Diagnostic & Crash Logs: Anonymous error logs and performance diagnostics may be collected via standard app store analytics to help us improve stability and fix bugs.

Permissions Used

  • ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Required for calculating regional astronomical timings and Panchang.
  • SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to schedule timely notifications for festivals and daily Panchang alerts.
  • INTERNET: Required for fetching ephemeris calculation updates, timezone data, and city search queries.
